This Merlot blend is every bit as juicy and unctuous as you’d expect from Bellarmine, who never fail to deliver the goods when it comes to highly gluggable wines. You’ll get great results pairing this wine with lightly spiced red meats like beef and lamb - it’s a winner with a North African tagine - and it’ll also pair really nicely with roasted beets and other root vegetables, and brunch classics like eggplant sabich. Roast chicken is also a great pairing, as is strong blue cheese and anything mixing savoury elements with a sharp berry sauce.
