Barossa Chardonnay is not all that common. This comes from a small Rowland Flat site planted in 2005.
Aromas of yellow flowers, mandarin peel, honeycomb and custard apple. Full in the mouth, stonefruits are the main player highlighted by yellow peach and apricots.
Look a little deeper to find barbecued peaches, biscuit and slight jersey caramel lingering through the mouth. The mouthfeel is a little firm, brown spices clutch to the finish. An interesting wine.
