Pepperjack Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels, sourced from premium vineyards throughout the Barossa. A rich, plush and concentrated wine with distinct varietal leafy notes and fine, textural tannins.
Pepperjack wines are predominately grown and made in the Barossa, a wine region notorious for world class Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Pepperjack winemaker, Richard Mattner is a born and bred local to the Barossa and he loves making the wines as much as much as he loves drinking them matched with a great steak. As he says..."Why would I need anything else?".
Pepperjack is famous for being the wine that champions the good honest match of steak and red wine and in 2014 released their ‘Graded’ range. Just as different cuts have different flavour, texture and appeal - so does wine. The result was the creation of two wines that best suited the characters of a scotch fillet or porterhouse: the Pepperjack Graded McLaren Vale Scotch Fillet Shiraz and the Pepperjack Graded Langhorne Creek Porterhouse Shiraz.
